Our New UK Distribution Centre

Located in Langstone Park, Havant, the new unit is 200 metres from our head office which will continue to house our production, testing facilities and inbound materials whilst also allowing us to continue working closely as a business and gives us the facilities we desire to meet our customers’ expectations. The site itself is going through many stages of development and in June 2024 the Langstone Park site won ‘Commercial Development of the Year’ at the South Coast Property Awards due to its contribution to modernisation, sustainability and opportunities to provide state of the art facilities to local businesses.

Our new distribution centre will allow us to:

• Increase our sustainability measures with solar panelled roofing and EV charging stations. You can follow our Sustainability Journey here - Our Commitment to Sustainability.
• Increase our despatch space from 20,700 sq ft to 40,300 sq ft allowing us to increase our finished goods holding, catering for decreased lead times.
• Relocate our Surface Mount within our current premises creating additional 30% in Surface Mount capacity on all our product ranges, taking us from three to four lines.
• Increase despatch efficiencies through system and process improvements allowing for smarter put-away, pick and pack processes which will reduce paperwork for our customers and will ensure our customers receives accurate orders.
• Creation of 2,300 standard size pallet spaces increasing our pallet space by 60%.
• Create up to 400 locations outside of pallet racking allowing for increased efficiency and accuracy on orders. 

Apollo’s top priority during the transition phase will be to ensure no disruption to customer deliveries. As we approach our transition later in 2024, we will be in touch to inform you of any details that might be relevant to your orders.

Our estimated ‘go live’ for operations is 2024 calendar year end and we have a lot of work to carry out between now and then.
